Jauntell Teoni Barnard was tragically and recklessly taken from this world on the 8th of July 2022. She took with her the hearts and hopes of many. The pastor at her funeral service commented how she achieved which many a pastor and preacher strive to, a full church. She touched the lives of so many.
She was a beautiful young woman with a unbridled passion for many things, including the less fortunate, beauty and life itself. She often supported and advised many of her friends, family and others with an old-soul wisdom that usually surprised not only her piers but also much older opinion, direction and advice seekers.
To her parents, Leonie and Letitia she was everything, their beginning, their end, their sunrise, sunset and all in between. She was the foundation of their existence and her untimely death crushed them. So many dreams and aspirations for her life came to a crashing end and theirs lives abruptly altered for ever.
This website is dedicated to the Angel that was Jauntell, JT, Jats, Pikkewyn, Babygirl, Angelface, Babes, Nonwe, Sweetie, Babbaloo and so many other names that will be forever remembered in the hearts of those that loved and cherished her.
I created this site with the intention of not only immortalising this beautiful soul but also as a means to bring some comfort to those who dearly loved her. As a way to make her live on and to share with and help those she so compassionately cared for.
The Tributes and Memories page has a comment section for any tributes, memories, anecdotes and stories you might want to share. Please feel free to leave some words, it helps with healing to share these stories and I'm sure others will appreciate the memories.
If you would like to send a personal message to Leonie or Letitia, I've created email accounts for you to contact them on if you would like to send them some personal encouragement.
If you have any comments or suggestions regarding the website, please send them to me.
As a tribute to JT I have compiled a list of worthy charities that I'm convinced she would have supported with her last pennies had she the opportunity. Please feel free to browse around this site and please find it in your heart to contribute to the causes she would have supported herself. If making a donation to any of the causes, if you like, please make donations in her name so we can celebrate the life of this very special young lady.
Thank you all SO much for being part of JT's journey.
To all that knew JT, I pray daily for you all, to find strength, peace and comfort with her loss, know that she'll always be there, in our hearts, dreams, our thoughts and our memories.
Be blessed and much love - Robert
